The data come from the Register of Companies of the Chambers of Commerce.The Register of Companies is a public register kept by the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture (CCIAA) competent for the territory, in which the acts of Italian companies required by law are registered; it represents the ‘Economic Register’ of the Italian productive forces. The data may differ from those published at national level on https://www.infocamere.it/movimprese, for reasons relating to the different ‘philosophy’ of administrative data management, especially with reference to office cancellations (here included in the calculation of total terminations) and registration/cancellation operations that occur between the end of a year and the beginning of the new year.
