The dataset contains Year-, state-, region- and fractile-class-wise compiled data on percentage of calorie and protein intaken from food items such as cereals, cereal substitutes, pulses, milk and its products, eggs, fish and meat and other food items by Indian Households belonging different fractile classes. The dataset has been compiled from table nos. 2, 2R, 4R, 4A-R and 4A of 50th, 55th, 61st, 66th and 68th round reports, respectively, of NSS reports published in the years 1994, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2012
