RNA sequencing of Atractylodes chinensis

Atractylodes chinensis (DC.) Koidz. is a traditional medicinal plant of the Asteraceae family. It is also an important economic crops under the forest. The active ingredients of A. chinensis include sesquiterpenes and atractylodin. The aim of the RNA-seq analysis of the leaves and rhizome of A. chinensis is to reveal the biosynthesis pathways of the active ingredients of A. chinensis. Additionally, it aims to identify functional genes associated with rhizome development and anti-stress mechanisms.
