The speaker of this recording is Mr. Karma Wangdi, a native of Chema. He is a Tshangla speaker who can also speak Dakpa with confidence. His parents were Dakpa, but he was asked to speak in Tshangla as his parents migrated to a Tshangla-speaking community. Mr. Tashi Tshewang is a Dakpa speaker. He can speak Hindi, Nepali, Dzongkha, English, and Tshangla. Here Mr. Wangdi is appeasing the Nêpo and asking him to avert any obstacles in his life. Tashi Tshewang made this recording. .
