Misconceptions on Grief and Bereaved People's Needs among Health and Social Care Professionals, Teachers and General Population in Italy

This dataset contains anonymized survey data collected for a study investigating misconceptions about grief and its management among health and social workers, teachers, and members of the general population in Italy. The dataset includes responses from 233 participants who completed a questionnaire consisting of nine statements addressing common myths about grief, rated on a 4-point Likert scale. Socio-demographic variables include age, gender, level of education, professional role, and personal experience of a significant loss. The data were used to examine the prevalence of grief-related misconceptions and to explore differences in responses across professional groups, gender, and personal bereavement experience.
