Turmut-Hoeing / Toussaints

Manuscripts in pencil in Ivor Gurney's hand. 'Turmut-Hoeing' exists in numerous places without changes. 'Toussaints' exists in another fair copy dated 'St Albans September 1918'. Gurney asked Marion Scott's opinion of the poem in a letter of September 1918. Both poems were included in 'War's Embers' (1919). Found in a burgundy notebook containing fair copies of poems made by Gurney.
