In the present study, we employed Affymetrix Staphylococcus aureus GeneChip arrays to investigate the dynamics of global gene expression profiles during the cellular response of Staphylococcus aureus to hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress, which involved initial growth inhibition and subsequent recovery.
