This dataset contains results from an experimental programme that investigated the effectiveness of arch action on the shear behaviour of reinforced concrete beams. It includes information on concrete mix composition, results from standard material characterisation tests (i.e. compressive strength on cubes and cylinders, indirect tensile splitting strength), load-deflection curves, measurements of steel tensile strains and concrete compressive strains.
