资源简介:
We measured the arthropod communities associated with the shrub species Ephedra californica at nine sites across three desert regions in California, USA. Panoche Hills, Cuyama Valley, and the Mojave Desert. Specimens were collected using pitfall traps containing a 50% mixture of propylene glycol and water. All traps were deployed for 72 hours in the field. The data are comprised of a total of 5820 collected arthropod specimens and 159 species and morphospecies. The specimens were collected between the dates of June 23rd and July 8th, 2019. There are two files within this dataset:1) species_data.csv, a table containing the counts of identified arthropod specimens, the associated microsite (ephedra/open) and the site. 2) Regional_sites.csv, a table containing study site coordinates and descriptions
