Effects of rearing enrichments on pullet behaviour and welfare

This collection includes data from 1700 pullets that were reared for 16 weeks with different types of enrichments. Measurements were taken on all birds, or subsamples including body weight across development, responses in behavioural tests, and weights of internal organs. \nLineage: A group of pullets were reared under different enrichment treatments with body weight measured periodically during development. A sample of pullets were assessed in a novel arena test and manual restraint test. A sample of hens were dissected at 15 weeks of age to take measurements of key internal organs.
