This data file was tailored for the cox regression analysis of survival/mortality over time per treatment combination. The first eight columns represent independent variables: 1. label is the unique number of an individual. 2. Replicate is the number (1, 2 or 3) of the replicate that has been assigned to an individual. 3. Tank is the tank number to which a given individual was assigned. 4. Temperature is the temperature treatment to which a given individual has been randomly assigned (COLD 14ºC or WARM 22ºC). 5. Species is the taxonomic status of a given individual either LF (Northern leopard frog) or WF (wood frog). 6. Genotypes: we used one clutch of leopard frog (genotype #1) and two clutches of wood frog (genotypes #2 and #3). 7. Strains: we used three ranavirus strain azaC, SsMeV and the wild type wt-FV3, see our description in the main text. 8. Exposure: either an individual is "exposed" or "control". 9. Day_death represents the number of days an individual survived. 10. Censoring is a variable that specify our knowledge or absence of knowledge about an individual death. The value "1" denotes occurrence and observation of an individual's death during the experiment, and the value "0" denotes that an individual was censored because it survived throughout and may have survived after the end of the experiment but we don't really know.
本数据文件专为针对各处理组合开展的生存/死亡率随时间变化的考克斯回归分析(Cox regression)定制。前八列为自变量:
1. 个体标识号(label):用于区分单个实验个体的唯一编号;
2. 重复组编号(Replicate):分配给该个体的重复组序号,取值为1、2或3;
3. 养殖缸编号(Tank):该个体被分配至的养殖缸编号;
4. 温度处理(Temperature):随机分配给该个体的温度条件,分为低温组(COLD,14℃)与高温组(WARM,22℃);
5. 物种(Species):实验个体的分类学属性,分为LF(北部豹蛙,Northern leopard frog)与WF(林蛙,wood frog)两类;
6. 基因型(Genotypes):本实验使用1窝豹蛙(基因型#1)与2窝林蛙(基因型#2及#3);
7. 毒株(Strains):本实验使用3株蛙病毒毒株:azaC、SsMeV与野生型wt-FV3,详细说明参见正文内容;
8. 暴露处理(Exposure):实验个体的分组处理,分为暴露组与对照组。
其余两列为结局变量:
9. 存活天数(Day_death):记录实验个体的存活时长,以天为单位;
10. 删失标识(Censoring):用于标注实验个体死亡观测状态的变量。取值为1时,表示实验期间观测到该个体发生死亡;取值为0时,表示该个体为删失样本:即实验全程存活,实验结束后其后续存活状态无法确认。
