Exploring the anti-breast cancer effects of Thai traditional formulary medicine (TTFM) extracts using gut microbiota and gene expression profiles in CLDX mouse models

Identification of the effects of Thai traditional formulary medicine (TTFM) on the tumor gene expression profiles in breast cancer mouse models. This research aimed to study the gene expression profiles of tumor samples from CLDX mouse models treated with or without Thai traditional formulary medicine (TTFM) extracts. Mice were injected with 3x105 4T1 cells into the left mammary fat pad via subcutaneous injection under aseptic conditions. Two weeks post-transplantation, mice were treated with or without TTFM. At the end of the experiment, the mice were euthanized via CO2 inhalation. Tumor tissues were collected, rinsed with PBS, stored in DNA/RNA Shield™, snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen, and kept at -80ºC until further use.
