This dataset consists of Open Food Facts images, each labeled with one of the two classes: front (ID 0) and other (ID 1). Front images are the default image of a product, typically a photo of the front side of the product packaging, displayed on Open Food Facts product pages. It is useful to identify front images to update them with newer versions when the packaging changes. The dataset was created by randomly fetching images from Open Food Facts, pre-annotating them with their class based on whether the image was selected as a front image or not, and then manually reviewed and corrected.
