The purpose of the project was to explore the relationship between psychological distress and suicidal ideation, and whether masculinity is a moderator. The data has been cleaned, there were 486 cases, 6 were removed for missing data on the IV or DV which leaves 480. In conclusion, the relationship between psychological distress and suicidal ideation was confirmed as positive, and for men one masculinity factor was a moderator of this relationship. For women 8 masculinity factors moderated the psychological distress and suicidal ideation relationship.
