"Le terre albanesi redente". La Ciameria tra irredentismo albanese e propaganda fascista

This paper reconstructs the historical events that led the Royal Academy of Italy, through the Centre of Albanian Studies, to plan the publication of a book about the Ciameria region, after the Italian invasion of Albania in 1939. The event of Ciameria and the irredentism of the Albanian peoples were used by Fascist propaganda in order to justify the Italian expansion in the Balkans and in Greece in particular.
