Lamprey anterior spinal cord T25 and T27 ATAC-seq

To understand how the vertebrate spinal cord has evolved, lamprey, a basally divergent lineage is being studied. Anterior spinal cord, from the end of hindbrain to the level of the beginning of the yolk, was dissected for ATAC-seq experiments. Spinal cord tissue from more posterior level are not extracted due to technical difficulties. ATAC-seq data would provide insight into potential cis-regulatory elements and lamprey spinal cord development gene regulatory network.
