收藏资源简介:
Dataset Description =================== For paper (in review): Wide-swath altimetry reveals pervasive high-flow backwater in global rivers This dataset accompanies the above paper and contains the primary result files organized into five folders. Code for generating these results can be found at https://github.com/Fangchq/Wide-swath-altimetry-reveals-pervasive-high-flow-backwater-in-global-rivers. global_river_dataset/ Core outputs of the study. reach_result_globe.pkl is the global river dataset covering 136,630 SWORD v17b reaches, with per-reach WSE and WSS time series, monthly statistics, and WSS–WSE correlation. reach_backwater_result_globe.pkl contains backwater detection and quantification results (~11,000 reaches). Both datasets are also provided as GIS shapefiles (shapefile/) and as regional subsets for China and the United States (China/, US/). In-situ data/ River gauge records used for independent WSE validation, sourced from USGS (United States) and the Canadian Meteorological Service. Includes daily water level time series, datum metadata, and a gauge station shapefile. monte_carlo_simulations/ Results of 100 Monte Carlo simulations run on China and US reaches to assess the robustness of WSS variability and backwater detection against SWOT observation noise. SWORD_by_HydroBASINSL1/ SWORD v17b river reach shapefiles partitioned by HydroBASINS Level 1 major basin (Basin_0 to Basin_9), defining the global river network used for HPC calculation. figures/ Main manuscript figures (fig1.pdf – fig3.pdf).
