Comparative genomic analysis of Fischer F344 rat livers exposed for 90 days to 3-methylfuran or its parental compound furan.

Transcriptomic data obtained by RNA-seq from male Fischer 344 rats treated with furan and 3-methylfuran were compared and contrasted. Microarray data from the same rats treated with furan was also used to compare microarray to RNA seq analysis. Compare trascriptomics data between furan and its derivative 3-methylfuran in male Fischer 344 rats using RNA-seq while at the same time comparing microarray data from the same rats treated with furan to that of RNA-seq data from both furan and 3-methylfuran.
