资源简介:
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of gut microbiota and targeted metabolomics using seven media previously applied in vitro fermentation models for humans and animals, with the objective of identifying the optimal in vitro fermentation method for cats. Fecal samples from nine healthy pet cats were collected and inoculated into seven different media. Fermentation broths were sampled at 0, 24, and 48 hours to assess changes in pH, short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), biogenic amines, and ammonia production. Gas production was measured after 48 hours of fermentation, and 16S rRNA sequencing was conducted to evaluate the stability of the microbial communities.
