Brain–Heart Interaction in Intracerebral Hemorrhage: Clinical Dataset

This dataset comprises detailed clinical, neuroimaging, biochemical, and electrocardiographic data from 574 patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), collected from a single tertiary medical center. It is designed to facilitate research on brain–heart interactions, cardiac injury mechanisms, and prognostic modeling after ICH. All variables were extracted from electronic medical records and imaging archives at admission, and manually verified by two independent investigators to ensure accuracy and consistency. Key variable categories include: • Demographics and baseline features • Medical history and pre-onset medication • Imaging characteristics • Biochemical cardiac markers • Electrocardiographic features • Outcome measures: in-hospital mortality and withdrawal of life-sustaining therapy (WLST) status. Purpose The dataset aims to provide a structured clinical foundation for analyzing the association between hematoma characteristics and cardiac injury, and for developing integrated predictive models based on brain–heart interaction mechanisms. Data Access This study is committed to the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles. To balance the imperative of protecting sensitive patient information with the academic community's need for reproducibility, the dataset is shared under a restricted access model. It is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Access is available to qualified researchers upon a justified request submitted to the corresponding author or data custodian. By requesting access, the user agrees to the terms of a Data Use Agreement, committing to use the data solely for validation or non-commercial academic research, to not attempt to re-identify individuals, and to not redistribute the data to other parties.
