Field bathymetry data collected from 24/01/2017 to 23/02/2017 at Tamandaré - Pernambuco, Brazil

The bathymetric surveys were conducted during January and February 2017 using a single-beam echo sounder (SonarMite BT-TM System). Survey tracks totalled 200 km, corresponding to a 22.5-km² area. All surveys were conducted on high tide time to allow maximum water depth.<br>Duplicated points were identified and deleted, and a correction of transducer depth was performed. Tidal height correction was performed based on tide charts provided by the Brazilian Hydrographic Authority for the closest harbour, Suape–Imbituba vertical datum—reference level RN5-DHN (estimated error = 0.1 m). Tide data from these tables were merged and interpolated using spline method to fit the bathymetric data to a tide value of 0.0 m. <br><br>
