New protein hormone peptides were identified by mass spectrometry of mouse serum protein under fasting and refeeding state

We have discovered a protein hormone that is induced to secrete under feeding conditions. We used SDS-PAGE and silver staining to compare the differential bands of all proteins in the serum of mice under the hungry state and under the fed state, and identified several peptides of this protein under the fed state by mass spectrometry analysis.
