Bathymetry and acoustic imagery of the Alabama continental shelf, 1989 to 2009

The data package includes bathymetry and acoustic imagery collected along the Alabama continental shelf by R/V EO Wilson, February 2012. Both seismic reflection (boomer) and sidescan data were collected. Seismic reflection was applied to the water column to observe the temperature-salinity structure. The acoustic imagery data (in MB-System format) can be used as a proxy for sediment type/seafloor conditions. This can also be useful for determining fish habitat.
