This dataset contains monthly variation data of glacial meltwater volume in the source regions of the Yangtze River and Yellow River on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 1958 to 2022. The dataset has a monthly temporal resolution. For spatial resolution processing, glaciers in the source watersheds of the Yangtze River and Yellow River are divided into multiple elevation bands at 100m elevation intervals based on the glacier vector maps of the watersheds and the 90m×90m digital elevation model (SRTMDEM). The glacial meltwater volume of each elevation band in the watersheds is calculated, and the total glacial meltwater volume is obtained through area weighting
