Subset of the Chinese earthquake catalog for the Tarim Basin–Altyn Tagh Range

This dataset contains a curated earthquake catalog compiled from the International Earthquake Science Data Center. Our earthquake catalog was spatially filtered according to the latitude and longitude bounds of the Tarim Basin–Altyn Tagh Range region and constrained to earthquakes with focal depths shallower than 9.5 km. The resulting subset represents the earthquake catalog used in this study for comparison with the velocity profiles. This dataset is a derived product rather than the complete official catalog and is provided to ensure reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated publication.
