资源简介:
The species Eubacterium brachy is characterized by its Gram-positive, rod-shaped morphology and obligate anaerobic nature, rendering it nonreactive in the majority of biochemical tests. This species is predominantly isolated from subgingival regions and is associated with moderate to severe adult periodontitis. The broad and imprecise definition of the genus Eubacterium suggests that many currently classified species may not belong to Eubacterium sensu stricto and are likely to be reclassified into new or existing genera in the future. We report a E. brachy strain isolated from human pleural effusion, and its 16S rRNA gene and whole-genome sequences were phylogenetically analyzed. Whole genome sequencing was performed through a combination of long-read sequencing by nanopore (Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Tokyo, Japan) and short-read sequencing by NovaSeq 6000 (Illumina Inc., California, USA).
