Traffic barometer - Standardized values

The traffic barometer (see <a href="https://www.bast.de/traffic barometer">Portal</a>) provides orientation values on the current traffic development in Germany as soon as possible. The provisional data of the automatic permanent counting points (DZ) per month serve as the basis. Monthly developments compared to the previous month and the same month of the previous year are shown on both BAB and federal roads. These data have already been pre-plausibilised by the federal states. The comparisons are displayed on the portal both graphically and in tabular form. In addition to the total traffic, heavy traffic (motor vehicles &gt; 3.5 tonnes permissible gross vehicle weight) and light traffic (motor vehicles = 3.5 tonnes permissible gross vehicle weight). A further differentiation is carried out on the basis of 8 vehicle types. The normalized values underlying the graphs of the traffic barometer are provided here as a CSV file. It is intended to update these figures on a monthly basis.
