The goal of this research was to quantify global transcriptional responses of a crop plant, soybean, to two neonicotinoid insecticides, thiamethoxam applied as seed treatments and imidacloprid applied as soil drench. We also exposed a subset of these plants to spider mite to study the effects of neonicotinoid insecticides on plant-arthropod interactions.
