The genetic response of E.coli K-12 MG 1655 to 1MPa pressure was examined using transcriptomic analysis by RNA-Seq. The results show many differentially expressed genes are invovled in oxidative stress, Fe-S cluster assesmbly and iron acquisition. Overall there were 8 samples sequenced. Four 1MPa treated samples (HPs) contained 2 biological replicates with 2 techinical replicates. Four control samples (LPs) also contained 2 biological replicates with 2 techinical replicates. After PCA analysis, LP4 was removed from further analysis
