Data and code for "Post-fire salvage logging as a second disturbance: severity-dependent land-surface warming after the 2022 Uljin wildfire, South Korea"
收藏资源简介:
This archive accompanies a manuscript submitted to Forest Ecology and Management. It contains a Sentinel-2-derived map of post-fire salvage logging for the 2022 Uljin wildfire (South Korea), the reference points used for its validation (labels and results; coordinates withheld), a 90-m cell panel of Landsat 8/9 land-surface temperature, NDMI, NDVI and albedo for spring and summer 2018–2026, derived ERA5-Land and weather-station data, the result tables behind the manuscript's tables and figures, the figures, and the Python/Google Earth Engine code of the analysis pipeline. The analyses estimate the effect of the post-fire logging treatment (salvage logging, site preparation and replanting) on land-surface temperature relative to unlogged burned stands, and compare it with the effect of the fire itself across burn-severity classes, using difference-in-differences designs, a heterogeneity-robust imputation estimator, coarsened exact matching and block-clustered inference. See README.md for file descriptions, the mapping to manuscript items and reproduction steps.
