Databases our study used or generated include (1) RNApolA proteins identified from the metagenomic survey, (2) Egovirales RNApolA proteins and major capsid proteins (MCPs) also identified from the metagenomic survey, (3) HMMs for the RNApolA and <i>Egovirales</i> MCP, (4) and the 57 Egovirales genomes >50kb in length (including 13 complete genomes).
