A person HIV infected can look healthy outside. 2. HIV can be transmitted by eating a meal with an HIV infected person. 3. A person can get HIV by having anal sex with an HIV infected person. 4. The risk for HIV infection can be reduced by having sex with an uninfected person. 5. The risk for HIV infection can be reduced by always using condoms for anal sex. 6. Showering or washing one's genital /private parts after sex prevents a person from getting HIV. 7. Using Vaseline or baby oil with condoms lowers the chance of getting HIV.
