Shotgun metagenomic sequencing of rhizosphere soil microbiome associated with Leonurus japonicus under zinc oxide nanoparticle treatment

This project investigates the rhizosphere soil metagenome associated with Leonurus japonicus under zinc oxide nanoparticle (ZnO NP) treatment. Total DNA was extracted from rhizosphere soil samples collected from control and ZnO NP-treated groups and subjected to shotgun metagenomic sequencing. The dataset was generated to characterize changes in microbial community composition and functional potential in response to ZnO NP exposure, providing resources for taxonomic profiling, gene annotation, and functional analysis of environmental microbial communities.
