Genome sequencing of Nichi01 silkworm. Bombyx mori strain:Nichi01 strain

Here, genome sequencing was conducted in the Japanese practical race of silkworm Nichi01. We integrated PacBio long reads, Illumina WGS, and a linkage map constructed with ddRAD-seq reads from the F2 population to construct the assembly with high accuracy. In the assembly, 22 of the 28 pseudomolecules contain telomeric repeats at both ends and only four gaps were contained. Although the genome sequence sets of Nichi01 and the previously reported one, a tropical strain p50T, assured the accuracy of each other in most regions each other, we have shown several regions misassembled in the previous one have been corrected in ours.
