NRS-1889 | Transcripts of tapes of evidence of enquiry into actions of Prison Officer Baker against Prisoner Heuston at Grafton on 9 Aug 1976

This is not a complete transcript of the tapes. Whilst officers of the Department of Corrective Services were transcribing them, the Office of the Royal Commission into New South Wales Prisons requested that the tapes be sent to them. They were subsequently used as exhibits at the Commission. The tapes were never fully transcribed. The transcripts of the tapes were not used as exhibits at the Commission. They are typescript photocopies of the original. A full listing of transcripts held is available.(5/4224.2-.14). 13 bundles.
