The project goal is to create a set of 50 genome sequences of C. parasitica strains (the causal agent of the chestunt blight) from western Europe, North America and Asia. Most of the European strains analyzed are related to the main clonal lineages identified in France. These sequences will be used to infer the main mode of reproduction of C. parasitica in western Europe and the genetic origin of these clonal lineages.
