This repository contains the raw input and processed data supporting the manuscript "Quantifying the responses of AI precipitation forecast errors to reanalysis errors using analysis of covariance". It includes GraphCast precipitation forecasts, ERA5 reanalysis, Daymet V4 R1 observations and catchment boundaries for 1426 catchments from the CAMELS-SPAT dataset. The archive also provides the processed catchment-mean precipitation datasets used to identify extreme events, quantify forecast and reanalysis errors and evaluate their statistical relationships across forecast lead times from 1 to 9 days.
