资源简介:
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are a class of brominated flame retardants that can be detected broadly in both the environment and living organisms, and the 2,2',4,4'-tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-47) is the predominant congener of them that has the stronger toxicity and bioaccumulation. However, the impacts of BDE-47 have so far been barely studied in the sea cucumber. Here, we detected the metabolic physiology of intestines in sea cucumbers exposed to BDE-47 using a metabolomics approach. A total of 68 potential metabolites filtered by the t-test (P < 0.05) and OPLS-DA model (VIP > 1.0) are identified and characterized from the positive and negative ion patterns, which levels are changed significantly in the BDE-47 treated groups. The target metabolites are retinol, urocanic acid, leucine, β-leucine, inosine, taurine and pyruvic acid etc. In addition, these metabolites mainly participate in the valine, leucine, and isoleucine biosynthesis, protein digestion and absorption, biosynthesis of phenylpropanoids, butanoate metabolism, taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, and other metabolic pathways.
