Discharge and suspended sediment time series of 2006 - 2020 of gauges Vent Rofenache and Tumpen in the glaciated high-alpine Ötztal, Tyrol, Austria

Dataset accompanying the publication "Suspended sediment and discharge dynamics in a glaciated alpine environment: identifying crucial areas and time periods on several spatial and temporal scales in the Ötztal, Austria", Earth Surf. Dynam., 2022, DOI: 10.5194/esurf-10-653-2022. The dataset contains discharge and suspended sediment concentration data in 15 minute resolution from two gauges - Vent Rofenache and Tumpen - in the Ötztal in Tyrol, Austria, as well as suspended sediment concentrations determined from water samples taken at the gauge in Sölden. Data from the gauges Vent and Tumpen from the years 2006 to 2020 have been recorded and quality checked by the Hydrographic Service of Tyrol, Austria. However, the data of the years 2019 and 2020 are preliminary. Water samples in Sölden were taken using an automatic sampler in 2019 and 2020.
