16S tag sequnencing of four blooming scyphozoan jellyfish microbiome

The aims of our research were to characterize the differences and similarities of the bacterial communities associated with the four blooming scyphozoans in Chinese Seas based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Ecological functions and potentially pathogenic bacteria within scyphomedusa-associated bacterial communities are also discussed to provide insights into the potential consequences for marine organisms and humans health.
