## Equipment and Setup
- **Needle size:** 22G
- **Needle tip:** Quincke
- **Used sensor:** M.4.4.0.22G
- **Punctured material:** Candle gel
**Phantom setup:**
A fully filled tube embedded inside a candle gel box.
We needed needle tip distances relative to the tube, not the surface of the material, in order to compare the distance for level measurements.
For this purpose, a candle gel box with an embedded tube was built.

## Experimental Setup
- Tube size: **10 × 8 mm**
- Pump speed: **22 rpm**
- Measurements performed at **room temperature**
### Distances
- Vertical distance from **tube center to bottom of box:** **3.5 cm**
- Distance from **tube center to top surface:** **6.3 cm**
- Candle gel surface begins at a **radial distance of 6.3 cm** from the tube center.

# Measurement Points
All measurement points are defined **relative to the tube center**.
- **P2** is the outermost point (needle tip **5 mm inside the gel**).
- Located **5.8 cm from the tube center**.
- Each subsequent point moves **toward the tube center** with **5 mm (0.5 cm) spacing**.
During tube recording the needle was moved until **8 mm distance from the tube surface**, which is why recordings exist only up to **P12**.

Each consecutive point is separated by **5 mm along the radial direction toward the tube center**.

# Surface Measurement Pattern
Measurements were performed on a **grid placed on the candle gel surface**.
### Grid Layout
- **3 columns:** `j`, `h`, `f`
- Each column contained **11 rows (10 rows + tube row)**
The **central row** corresponds to the row where the tube is located:
- **5 rows above the tube**
- **5 rows below the tube**
