Number of payment card transactions in Russia 2008-H1 2023

Russia saw a growing trend in the number of payment card transactions observed over the period under consideration. The figures rose from approximately two billion in 2008 to around 55.8 billion card transactions in 2022. In the first six months of 2023, the number of card transactions reached 30 billion.
