资源简介:

The PM10 mass was determined gravimetrically according to the EN 12341:2023 standard. Water soluble organic carbon (WSOC) in PM10 samples and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in wet and total deposition samples were determined (after filtration of PM water extracts; 0.7 μm GF/F filters, Whatman, UK; pre-combusted at 450 °C for 5 h) by TOC-VCPH analyser (Shimadzu, Japan) by standardized thermo-optical methods.Total dissolved carbohydrates (DTCHO) were determined in wet and total deposition samples spectrophotometrically, following a slightly modified MBTH method. For total dissolved monosaccharides (DMCHO) determination, the hydrolysis step was omitted. The concentration of total dissolved polysaccharides (DPCHO) was calculated as a difference of DTCHO and DMCHO.Three different classes of atmospheric biomarker carbohydrate compounds (anhydrosugars, primary sugars, and sugar alcohols) were analyzed in PM10, wet, and total deposition samples using high-performance anion-exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD, Thermo Fisher Scientific, USA). Real-time meteorological data were obtained from the nearby Šibenik station of the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service. The NOAA Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory Model (HYSPLIT), driven by meteorological data from the Global Data Assimilation System (GDAS; 1°, global, 2006 – present), was used to reconstruct the history of air-mass trajectories.Airborne pollen counts were obtained from the Institute of Public Health of Šibenik-Knin County. The dataset of the field study is archived as a supplement to the manuscript submitted for the review process.
