Data from Historic Building Recording of the Boiler House at Marriott's Shaft, South Wheal Frances, Cornwall, November 2023 to February 2024.

This collection comprises images and a report from a historic building record carried out by Cornwall Archaeological Unit at Boiler House, Marriott's Shaft, South Wheal Frances, Cornwall from November 2023 to February 2024. Work was commissioned by Cormac Solutions Ltd. prior to and following the repair of a Grade II Listed boiler house within the Scheduled Monument area (List Entry No: 1005441) at Marriott's Shaft, South Wheal Frances, near Piece, Carnkie. The building adjoins the pumping engine house for Marriott's shaft and is located at NGR SW 68072 39388 within the South Wheal Frances complex which also lies within the Camborne and Redruth mining district of the World Heritage Site for Cornish mining.
