Gross value added of Lisbon 2019-2022

The gross value added (GVA) of the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon increased considerably from 2019 to 2022, despite a decrease recorded in 2020. In 2019, the region's GVA was 66.4 billion euros, while, in 2022, it stood at more than 75.6 billion euros. Despite such fluctuations, it represented around 36 percent of the country's total GVA in every year analyzed.
