Izwi magazine: complete literary content 1971-1974

Izwi was a small literary magazine founded by Phil du Plessis, who also edited the magazine alongside other major South African writers, Stephen Gray, Wilma Stockenström, Wessel Pretorius, and Sheila Roberts. The magazine ran from October 1971 to December 1974 and included 461 literary works as well as numerous art works as inserted numbered prints or as silkcreened cover art. This dataset only covers metadata on the literary content of the magazine.
