Bone marrow RNA-seq after zoldronic acid treatment of ovariectomized rats

This study was initiated to identify novel therapeutic biomarkers of zoledronic acid by metabolomics. Rats were divided into three groups, namely sham-operation group (SHAM), Normal saline group (NS), and zoledronic acid group (ZA). Sham operation was performed on SHAM group, while NS and ZA groups received bilateral ovariectomy. Plasma samples were collected at five independent time points for metabolomic profiling. At the end of the study, bone marrow RNA-seq was also performed to consolidate the result of plasma metabolomics.
