Associations between physical activity, sedentary behaviour and cardiovascular health markers in those with lower limb osteoarthritis data set

This dataset contains anonymised individual-level data collected as part of a PhD project for a study titled 'Associations between physical activity, sedentary behaviour and cardiovascular health markers in those with lower limb osteoarthritis.' It was a cross-sectional study of adults with clinically diagnosed lower-limb osteoarthritis (hip and/or knee), designed to examine how device-measured and self-reported physical activity and sedentary behaviour relate to markers of cardiovascular health.The dataset includes:Sociodemographic and anthropometric variables (e.g. age, sex, heigh, weight, BMI)Physical activity and sedentary behaviour (e.g. average daily step count, time spent in physical activity and sedentary time metrics)Cardiovascular health markers, including carotid intima–media thickness, flow mediated dialtion, heart rate and blood pressure.
