The CT Benchmark was developed by the Centre for Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Processes (CEMMPRE) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, as a benchmark for evaluating and comparing the performance of human-robot collaborative assembly tasks. The dataset contains seven distinct sub-assembly tasks involving various assembly configurations, each requiring the assembly of 1 to 3 components. It is designed to ensure experimental repeatability and replicability in human-robot collaborative environments, and is primarily applied in manufacturing assembly scenarios, with the objective of improving efficiency by comparing the performance of manual, automated, and collaborative assembly processes.
