The Parkinson’s dataset used in this study was obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository (also available on Kaggle).
It includes 195 voice recordings from individuals with and without Parkinson’s disease.
Non-informative attributes such as patient ID, record number, or insurance identifiers, which do not contribute to the prediction or diagnosis of the disease, were removed during preprocessing.
The target variable represents whether the subject has Parkinson’s disease or not, and only clinically relevant acoustic and biomedical features were retained for analysis.
